Sight transcends the retina.
The work opens a space within the usual perspective, creating a zone of indeterminacy for the imagination and a new path between the real and the virtual.
The appearance arises from an imaginary confrontation with the relentless force of the massive gravity of a black hole. The optical dimension of the geometry used in the work formally supports the metaphor of the encounter with that force. The visual effect that alters perception generates the illusion of vertigo, deforming the space.
Its vision represents, in some way, a metaphysics of the "contact with the singularity," the contact with the "experience itself," suggesting the interaction with the gravitational force of a black hole to indicate the existence of other realities. The work invites the viewer to reflect on their perception of existence, exploring the tension between the finite and the infinite, the real and the virtual, and questioning their perception of reality."
